Over 200 Crypto Firms, Including Ripple and Coinbase, Urge Senate to Hold Floor Vote on CLARITY Act

More than 200 crypto companies, trade groups, and organizations, including Coinbase and Ripple, have signed a letter calling on Senate leaders to bring the CLARITY Act to a floor vote. The letter was sent to Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, according to Stand With Crypto, which organized the effort alongside the Blockchain Association, the Crypto Council for Innovation, and The Digital Chamber.

Stand With Crypto said it has mobilized a network of nearly 3 million advocates across all 50 states to push for the bill's passage. Signatories listed in the effort include Coinbase, Ripple, Kraken, Andreessen Horowitz, Circle, and Binance US. The CLARITY Act is intended to establish a regulatory framework for crypto markets and define the jurisdictional boundaries between federal agencies overseeing digital assets.

The letter follows the Senate Banking Committee's advancement of the crypto bill and arrives as the Senate's attention has shifted toward artificial intelligence legislation, creating the possibility of a delay. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, White House Crypto Advisor Patrick Witt, and Senator Tim Scott have publicly expressed support for the measure.

The push underscores a coordinated effort by major industry players to secure a Senate vote on market-structure legislation that has been a central focus of the U.S. crypto sector's policy agenda.
