ChangeNOW Expands Non-Custodial Wallet With On-Chain Sports Betting and Prediction Markets

ChangeNOW is expanding its non-custodial wallet, NOW Wallet, into prediction markets and sports betting as it positions itself as a one-stop infrastructure provider for the crypto industry. Speaking with BeInCrypto at Consensus 2026 in Miami Beach, Head of Growth Tim Stanyakin said the company has built a full ecosystem spanning retail, iGaming and enterprise clients, with each branch serving a distinct layer of the market. "We have an ecosystem. We have a branch called NOWPayments. We provide cryptocurrency, even gateway for different companies, starting from retail to gambling to iGaming. Moreover, we have our own non-custodial wallet, NOW Wallet. We have an infrastructure provider called NOWNodes. It's like the basement for almost every company on the market," Stanyakin said.

NOWNodes, the company's infrastructure arm, operates a scalable crypto node platform that provides blockchain APIs and full-node services to developers, enterprise clients and Web3 projects. ChangeNOW also operates NOWPayments, a cryptocurrency payment gateway that supports merchants across sectors. Stanyakin framed the combined offering as a single stack designed to handle radically different use cases under one operational umbrella.

The latest product push targets prediction markets and sports betting, which Stanyakin identified as the dominant speculative use cases following the AI-driven cycle of 2024 and 2025. "We did a deep research and we understood that the whole market right now, the previous main highlight, I mean the 2024, 2025 was AI. Now it's perps, prediction, prediction, perps. And as we would like to satisfy all of our customers, we decided to do that on-chain. We integrated Asper, we integrated PolyMarket, HyperLiquid, and it's natively righ" Stanyakin said, describing integrations aimed at bringing sports betting and prediction activity directly on-chain within the wallet.

Regulatory complexity is shaping how those products are deployed. ChangeNOW operates in the U.S., Canada and Europe and is expanding into the APAC region, with Stanyakin noting that each jurisdiction imposes different requirements. "You choose the approach [in each region] not because of the mindset of the people, but mostly because of the different requests from the government and from taxes and forms," he said. The U.S. Clarity Act, which could expand stablecoin adoption, is progressing toward a vote in the U.S. Senate, though the legislative outcome remains pending.
